*beams!* Wow, I didn't realize how much heartbreak there was until you listed it all like that! I am not generally a heartbreak kind of writer, so that makes me probably a little bit too gleeful. Underneath all the things crashing and exploding in the film, I thought that one of the primary themes was how the actions of one person can mean everything, even in a situation where nothing can stop the inevitable. I'm glad you found some of that in here as well.
