Fantastic adaptation! I think your story is soooo much better than the movie. Loved how you gave these characters depth and motivation, esp. when it comes to Arthur and Merlin. There are very few stories with Arthur POV, and even fewer that elucidates his emotions and feelings without having him come off too prattish. This feels like the Arthur I know and love, and through his eyes, I can see why he loves Merlin. Merlin is brilliant and adorable, but his determination to help others, continue on his field work makes me so proud of him.

Phenomenal storytelling, and I felt like I was watching a better version of the movie as I was reading this fic. :D Thanks for sharing such a gorgeous fic! <3
