This is probably going to give me nightmares because I'm irrational and paranoid but it was SO WORTH IT. I always love your stories, and this one is no exception. The insertion of Arthur and Merlin and their world into this universe seems so perfectly done. I loved seeing this kind of story from a Royal point of view - it's one I have never seen before.

The imagery of the destruction around the characters felt so real, and it is testament to your writing that I got emotional several times throughout - particularly when hearing of the US being destroyed and of Uther staying behind and announcing Arthur as King. When Arthur took that announcement full on and and enveloped himself as a leader, I got chills.
