It didn't seem that huge to Merlin and Gaius, but I suppose in fairness they were pretty busy at the time trying to keep Uther from killing everybody he didn't like in the castle.
To be fair, it never occurred to me, either, until you pointed it out. I just wasn't thinking of it as magic, but you're totally right! Ha!
I'm not sure how I feel about Uther possibly tricking Arthur into looking back. I saw that you felt it would be a bit OOC for him to do it, but I felt the same way about a lot of what he did when he reached the castle as well. In so far as the Uther we saw at the castle, yes, I believe he would do it. But I can't see Uther as I saw him in eps doing it.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think we see less of Gwen now that she's Arthur's queen. Not a complaint, btw.
JFC, please tell me that Arthur isn't going to learn about Merlin's magic in the very last episode. I'll be seriously annoyed.
