Well, after all my fuss, it turns out I'm allergic to BPAL after all.

*grump*

*sneeze*

In happier news, OMG I'm going to London in December. Right after Ewan leaves Guys and Dolls, but there wasn't anything I could do to stop him, so I'll live with that part. But I have a plane ticket now. I'm committed. I'm not eating for the next couple months (not necessarily a bad thing). I'm seeing Duran Duran and John Barrowman and lots of old buildings.

Also, right after that happened last night, I was playing KoL and almost accidentally beat the Naughty Sorceress. Now I'm itching to ascend, but I have to figure out all the details first. I'm considering being a true masochist and going Hardcore Oxygenarian. Gulp. I probably wouldn't be considering that if I'd gotten more sleep last night. But hey, at least everything else will seem easy after that.

Oh, and I finally saw this week's House last night, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] chelseafrew. And I fell out of my chair. No kidding. And then I came home and opened my birthday present from [livejournal.com profile] deannie and [livejournal.com profile] noelql, which happened to include a piece of gorgeous Suzan Lovett House art that I didn't even know existed. Guh.

So the week is ending much better than it began.

Ooooh, London. I need to go back to London.

As for the BPAL, are there common notes to the ones that made you sneeze? Because there are definitely notes that make me sneeze (most florals and some ozone-ish types), and others that make me woozy in a baaaad way (anything patchouli or musk), but if you can tell what those are are and avoid them... I know there are people with tons and tons of scents that work on them, but I've really only found about five that make me happy.

Yeah, I always have to search long and hard to find a scent that won't make me sneeze or give me a headache, and that can make me happy enough that I don't want to wash it off after ten minutes. So far, there's been four perfumes in my life that made it that far.

I really like a couple of the BPAL scents, though, so I'm removing those from the others to clear out any cross-scent contamination from the package, and hopefully at least one of them will prove to not be the source of my allergic reaction.
