Hee!

My desk is just about covered in flowers. Each of my coworkers brought in a handful from their gardens (though several apparently have gardens at Safeway) to put into one big vase. Except that now it's expanded to two vases and a plastic Coke bottle sawed in half.

Of course, now my throat is closing up and I can't really feel most of my head. But my desk is really pretty. Still, the people who brought me chocolate instead of flowers are getting the most favors this week.

And yes, I know it's a manufactured commercial holiday. But I'm enjoying the manufactured commercial love, 'cause I'm just that easy. Administrative Professionals Day only comes once a year, y'know.

:-( Bummer. I can sympathize -- the last two bosses I had never did anything for me, not even an e-card. And I know for a fact that the last one knew about it, because our EVP always sent around a reminder early in the week.

*sends serene a bunch of pretty flowers*

Aw, thanks! My bosses are actually very nice to me. They buy me things and take me out and give me excellent xmas presents. I just didn't know about today. Still, I'll take the flowers, gratefully. :-)

Oh, good. Glad they aren't just neglectful. We just need to drum up some more publicity for the day, get the industry going. *g*

Heh. Hallmark is just gonna *love* you.

Oh, no, no Hallmark for me, thanks. I want *good* stuff. If you didn't shop at Godiva (or Barnes & Noble), you don't come near my desk! *g*
