My new addiction
I've had the episodes downloaded forever, but it was on my catch-up-on-sometime-this-summer list until this past weekend when I decided to watch "just one" episode to see what
ndannais was raving about. So now here I am, thoroughly and completely hooked on the new Dr. Who.
I've watched 9 episodes so far, and OMG, this is such crack. Dr. Who was my second fandom (after TOS), back in my wild teenage fan years, and I think this was the Doctor and Companion I was waiting for all that time.
Four more episodes to go, and I'm torn between wanting to tear through them and wanting to savor them slowly to make them last longer. But there's a fandom, right? There's fanfic, right? Please tell me there's fanfic.

I think I have to look for fanfic, as well. They did such an amazing job of making the show so very dramatic and scary and slashy, while keeping the feel of the original series, as well.
*waits for marzilla to finish watching those last four episodes and post* :-)
