Happy (Hype-y?) Harry Potter Day!

It's been fun watching my friends checking on their amazon shipping status for OOTP. It sort of reminds me of the Santa radar that local TV stations always do on Christmas Eve. "Look at that, George, the new Harry Potter book has cleared the Rockies and is coming down over the cornfields as we speak. Looks like there are going to be some happy fangirls tomorrow morning!"

Me, I'm a traditional (read: paranoid) kinda girl myself. I preordered at my local Borders, and tonight chelseafrew and I will go there at the stroke of midnight and claw our way to the cash register. Parents of small children should be warned: I have no scruples.

Then the rest of my weekend will be spent in utter non-productivity between reading that and watching the 4th season of Stargate. Ahhh, bliss.
