Ergonomically Correct, or, The Minutiae of My Day

Just got back from spending my lunch hour at a brown bag seminar on ergonomics. Since it was a choice between that or printing out two hundred incentive check letters, off to the seminar I went. And not only did I get to learn about how fucked up my elbows are going to be when I'm 35, but I also got to sit next to my study area's VP and write Legolas/Gimli fic, which isn't something I get to do every day.

And I got to rearrange my boss's very ergonomically incorrect desk to forestall her plans for a workman's comp suit. Tomorrow I'm bringing in the feng shui books and really going to town.

Earlier, I had the great joy and delight of seeing the first picture of Gary Oldman as Sirius Black from the PoA movie. He is too short. He is too fluffy. He does not work. Although I am intrigued by mentions of arcane tatoos.

Finally started on my Everwood flashfiction story. I've been staring at the walls, working it out in my head for a while, but I've finally put pen to paper. Which is good, since I now have... 8 days left to write it. Oy vey. And still I ask, why am I writing Bright/Ephram and docslash? What happened to the Colin/Ephram love, people?

Ergonomic update - my mouse arm hurts more since I adjusted my keyboard tray. Think Ergonomics Lady was full of crap.
