WOW. I've not seen the film, but goddamn, this was compelling. My heart broke when Merlin left Arthur, and again in a rather different way when it became clear how many people wouldn't be saved, and when Morgana died. I loved Merlin's and Arthur's and Morgana's different forms of determination to do whatever they could to help.
Riveting and intense and after all that, I'm so glad Arthur and Merlin could be together in the end. &hearts
