i feel alternately smug and sad that mystate now has only mail in voting. it's great to be able to sit with the computer and voting book while you're voting and do it in a leisurely manner and not have to wait in queues and all of that, but it does rather make 'voting day' less interesting. i sent in my ballot last week. since i was out of country before this, i haven't voted in an actual polling place for nearly 10 years. wild.
