well, it isn't really mail-in only, and there was a sizable queue outside the one local polling place. they encourage you to mail it in, though you can also leave it at a drop box at any library up until the polls close, as well as at the few polling places that are open. i don't miss is, but it is kind of odd not to have to go to the polls.
