Oh, you are exactly right about that! I think I'm loving this so much because there's more unmanufactured potential for quality angst and hurt/comfort than I've seen in a fandom for a long time.
You can't deny the power of matching single tears. YOU JUST CAN'T. Especially when the tears came from a FUCKING TELEPATHIC CONNECTION.
