Well I think I shall just frame this post. You must have spent so long on it! And I have to say, I pretty much agree with everything you said. It was a beautiful episode, in its sadness and pain as well as in its breathtaking love. And it was charming.
Alex has snared a lot of us. I was talked into signing up for the reverse big bang, on a hint there may be some Mordred art to write for. But even if there isn't, I'm going to have to write him a story after NaNo. That final scene where Arthur lifts him up was absolutely precious.
But yes, this was a sad and hard episode. I feel like Meriln is teetering on the edge more than ever. :(
