Labor Day is Marathon Day!

It is so lovely to have a day off from work, not just because we hardly get any holidays at my company, but because I've been miserably sick ever since I finished my big bang, so it's nice to have an extra day to do some of the stuff I've been wanted to do.

For example, marathon Teen Wolf!

I'm on Episode 1.7 now. So far I'm enjoying it a lot. Not seeing the Sterek so far, but I'll assume that comes later on.

My impressions so far:

Scott - Freakin' adorable, albeit dumb as a rock.
Stiles - My favorite, OBVIOUSLY.
Derek - Really hot. Needs a personality trait other than "broody"
Allison - OMG LOVE HER SO MUCH. Love her with Scott, though she is too smart for him.
Lydia - I kind of love her, too. I'm hoping she ends up having a similar character development arc to Caroline on TVD.
Jackson - Poor Jackson.
Martouf - Poor Martouf.

Onwards... and accepting fic recs anytime, just saying.

I read a lot of Sterek fics before watching any episodes and when I finally did I had a similar reaction to the lack of interaction between them on the show. But by that time I was already a convert! And STILES--yes, I love him so much.

Well, I'm almost done with S1 now, so hopefully I'll be caught up soon and ready for ALL THE STORIES! I really wish every episode was just Derek and Stiles running around doing stuff together -- they are so hilarious together. So I think they'd be really hot as a pairing, though honestly, I think I could read almost anyone in this fandom with the right story.

Are you on 10 yet? The person who is the alpha x stiles is my favorite rare ship. Not in a romantic way rhhhhhehenslfnnskajfbd I love it though. I wrote Scott and stiles jerking off to porn together ore series because they so would. And some S2 character pairings. And I really want Lydia to peg jackson. Like. Immediately. I also ship sheriff and Scott's mom.

I like Derek and stiles even in gen stories because their animosity makes me giggle.also I totally thought Derek was senseless brooding until I was suddenly and irreparably consumed with Derek hale sadness and feelings. Damn it!

I love S2 but the finale episodes of S1 are my favorites.

Just finished Season 1! Poor Derek, he needs all the hugs. Loved that Scott's brain is actually stepping up a little more into the action.

I think episode 1.9 sealed the deal for me as far as loving their dynamic, fuckening or otherwise.

I have not written Peter/Stiles unless you count Peter making Derek fuck Stiles using evil wolfsbane errrrrr. But a few people have. The tag on AO3 has some gorgeous stuff.

I have to get a feeling for a ship in canon (even just a tiny bit - Jack/Ianto just took Ianto handing Jack coffee!) before I can enjoy it in fandom. I know some can find a ship in fandom. I wish! So for me, it wasn't until almost the end of S2 where I even felt an inkling of a slash ship (not Derek/Stiles btw). And I still haven't felt it full blown yet. I have to read some fics now and see if I fall into it or not.
