Yes. Best episode yet. It was so damned *scary*. Huge kudos to Molotnikov's direction, because I barely breathed from start to finish.
I'm so happy they made so much out of Uther's guest-spot. He was chilling and cruel, all the very worst of Uther, and he (unintentionally) made Arthur take such a huge step forward in growing up.
And so, so happy that Merlin got to reveal himself to Uther. I thought that boat was well and truly sailed, but there it was, and it was glorious.
And just... so much Arthur/Merlin love. The trust, the talks, the long looks. Most especially the one after Arthur sent Uther back, when Merlin was pinned to the door: ye gods, the eye-fucking.
