Well, that was nice. Not quite as exciting as an episode dealing with imminent exposure ought to be, I thought, although part of that is that I have a hard time staying emotionally involved when it's Sam carrying the POV of the episode. But it had some nice moments. Nice Sam/Daniel moments, nice Thor, some cute Jack, a couple fleeting glimpses of Teal'c's biceps. I don't ask for too much, really.

A few minor notes:

-- The bit where Jack and Thor beam out of Jack's office was as cute as I was anticipating. In fact, all the beaming up and down was fun. It must be way cool to be best buds with the Supreme Commander of the Asgard Fleet.

-- Sam really freakin' knows everybody, doesn't she? At least this time it made sense that she'd know someone in the aeronautics industry, unlike, say, geneticists.

-- Although he'd never admit it (at least not to Jack), I think a part of Daniel really related to Alec Colson and his desire to stand up and proclaim the truth despite the inevitable ridicule and career damage, hence his reluctance to condemn the man for going public. And Colson certainly seemed to know Daniel's history in that regard.

-- And speaking of that little conversation, how cute were Sam and her nice-looking young man in their business clothes? I do love that Sam is as comfortable in high heels as in combat boots. And I love that Daniel got 13 messages from Bregman. And I love how cute and hot he looked in that grey suit while he was talking about it.

-- "Ex-Vice President Kinsey" Hee! I just loved hearing that.

-- Hello, Teal'c. Hello, Teal'c's biceps. Don't worry, we won't keep you long. We know you're resting up in the hopes of getting laid again next week.

-- While the plot of the episode didn't entirely work for me, I do like that they're at least trying to deal with the inevitable fallout from the NID stuff, as well as the way government really works with all of the contractors and subcontractors. Someone was bound to figure out something eventually. And thank you for having someone have finally seen a space battle on a satellite! That was just getting ridiculous that no one noticed the things going boom up there.

As for Atlantis, the only comment I have this week is that the Sheppard/McKay is really just getting silly at this point. Don't make me go to the bad place, mommy!
