That's better than the Philadelphia mayor's lame Stanley Cup bet... he said if the Hawks won, he'd work in a community garden and send the resulting produce to a Chicago food bank. Very civic-minded and all, but sheesh.

Wow, that is kind of a lackluster bet, especially given the... sporting enthusiasm usually shown by both cities. But hey, at least some folks in Chicago can look forward to some fresh produce!

I am probably not going to be at con.txt, sadly. I had put off registering because I wasn't sure what my summer schedule was going to be like, and now I believe registration is closed. :-(
