corilannamI had to get to work early today to get my spiffy new photo ID card, which I now have to wear around my neck whenever I venture out into the hallway. It feels like I'm at a con, except for the having fun part. The guy took my picture twice, with identical results, so I just went with it. I look like a startled squirrel with a guilty conscience, but I don't think that was going to change no matter how many times he took it.

My plan to reduce my sugar levels must be working better than I'd realized. I bought a bag of Lifesavers Fusions to keep in my desk for when I want to suck on something fruity (*blink* that came out wrong, didn't it?) But every time I eat one, I end up all jittery and wired. So into the central candy dish they go, where my cow-orkers should make short work of them.
Disclaimer: Not that I'm implying that any of my fellow employees frequently have urges to suck something fruity. They just like candy, is all.

I've been immersed in HP fic lately, but I'm dragging myself out of it this afternoon, I've decided. My inbox is full up with Stargate stories I haven't looked at yet, and I still have more than half of the J/D ficathon to read and feedback. Plus, I'm running out of good HP.
And I *still* haven't managed to see the Atlantis commercial.
