So last week we ordered Chinese and I got a fortune in my fortune cookie that disturbed me a little bit. "Tomorrow will be too late to enjoy what you can today."

I'm kind of a chronic procrastinator, so it could have been just generalized life advice. Or it could have been warning me that my eggroll wasn't going to keep until lunch this week. But with this sniper lurking around the bushes here, I felt a little chill.

So today we ordered the usual Chinese lunch at the office, and when I opened my fortune cookie -- "Tomorrow will be too late to enjoy what you can today."

Creepy, if you ask me. I didn't even get an eggroll this time.

I get that someone's trying to tell me something. I just need to know what. Apparently before it's too late.

Well, not too bad, really. Just creepy. 'Cause after all, when the fortune cookie told me good luck was coming in the mail, all I got was a phone bill, so why should I take them seriously anymore? *g*

Well, I'm very glad to see that you're very much still here.

But what *did* it mean?

I'm thinking it was advice to eat as much cake on my birthday as I wanted. ;-)
