Getting ready for Merlin S2 (yes, 2)

I am typing on the new keyboard I just installed in my Eee PC. It doesn't feel as good as the last one and it's a little slow. I don't know whether that's because it cost $10 from Hong Kong or whether it's because I bent the ribbon trying to connect it to the motherboard before I finally figured out the trick to it. Why, oh why, is there no disassembly guide around for the 1000HA?

But it types, yay.

I am settling in to begin rewatching the second series of Merlin. I've been meaning to do this for a while, both because I still haven't watched an episode and a half and because I wanted to take notes for my Angry Feminist Rant on the shoddy treatment of Gwen and Morgana. No, I wasn't overjoyed with much of this season.

Now I have to actually buckle down and watch it all the way through. I realized today that my plan to ignore series 2 in my paperlegends story (which I kind of have to get going on) was not going to work. I have the plot all laid out, but no depth of characterization, and that characterization is... going to have to come from series 2.

*sigh*

Maybe I'll like it better this time. Anyone want to convince me I've misjudged it?
