Wow. Sucky week. I have actually reached the point where I'm so emotionally stressed out that I'm not eating much -- which, if you know me at all, is a nearly inconceivable thought.
But as always, there are silver linings --
- tonight I get to see TPM on the big screen one more time! Our local AFI theater is showing all the Star Wars movies this weekend as part of a Lucas tribute, and I'm not passing up the chance to revisit 1999 one more time. It just isn't the same on DVD, you know? And tomorrow, ESB. Any other DC-area TPM people planning to go?
- my TiVo finally has enough space on it to record Live 8 tomorrow. And while I'm quite sure MTV and VH-1 will not show me a single hair on John Taylor's newly-blond head, given the time slot Duran is playing in Rome, I'm still looking forward to watching.
- I will soon not have to see my workplace for three whole days! What's not to love about that? And I've gotten all but one thing done on my to-do list.
- I love the 4th of July. These days the fake trappings of patriotism annoy me, but I have to admit I have a serious thing for fireworks. And while I don't get to go down to the Mall this year, I can TiVo those, too!
- I just saw watermelon in the conference room. And now I'm going to post this so I can go get some.

Lemme say that again.
GUH
As for the rest, hope your great weekend makes up for your craptastic week. And I'm still waiting to hear back from A&J re: driving school.
Oh and I love fireworks too! I might go down to my friend's apartment building on Monday to see them. I love going down to the Mall usually, but I think I must be getting old or something, because sitting on the grass for hours eating chips & sandwiches and sweating, just to see Barry Bostwick make corny jokes and hear the NSO, and then to have to get up and move to see the freaking fireworks because I *always* end up having to sit behind a tree, well, it just doesn't appeal like it used to. :/ I want a grill, some hot dogs, and friends, and maybe even lame ass county fireworks would work. ;)

Anyway, the school is Potomac Driving School. A&J recommend it, J went there and A's old boss's kids also all went there. I don't have a phone number or anything for them, though.
