I was (slightly) worried that after completely obsessing over Duran Duran since April, they would not as mindblowing again in concert as I was imagining.

Which turned out to be true.

They were way, way better. Which is good news for me, since I'm seeing them four more times in the next week.

This reminds me... I have some things for you if you want them. A VHS copy of "Sing Blue Silver," a behind the scenes look at Duran Duran's 1984 North American Tour, and a cassette of "Tiger! Tiger," disco mixes of their songs from 1983. The latter is most definitely a product from Japan. Anyway these were salvaged from a friend's housecleaning, and I would be happy to send them to you, especially since you made me that copy of LWR episode 1. So, do you want them?

Just had to say - went to the DD concert here in KC last Saturday. I went nuts!! They were better than I have ever seen them!! (Yes, I was one of those sad teenagers who followed them everywhere in the '80's!) I couldn't stop dancing on Saturday night. It was FABU! They are truly getting better with age!!!

have a wonderful time, and yeah for going to multiple shows. i used to do that when the grateful dead came to town, it's a great way to step out of the world and just *steep* yourself in the music you love.
