corilannam | Pretty picspam, part 4

Here's the Fourth Day of JoSi, my final post (for now) of Duran Duran slashy picspamation. Earlier posts were:

When we last left the boys, John was wasting away in LA, and Simon was pining for him. In August 2000, Simon went to visit John when DD was playing in LA. They sat by John's pool and Simon "poured out his heart" to John about his unhappiness and how he wanted to leave the band. John, who was playing tiny gigs and acting bit parts in horrible movies, suggested an alternative -- bringing back all the Taylors, reuniting the original Fab Five. The next day, Simon brought Nick to John's house, they called Andy and Roger, and the reunion was set in motion.

Fast forward a few years, they had a new album, a new tour, and a much happier John and Simon. They have a few extra pounds and a few wrinkles between them, but they still can't keep their hands off each other. Or their mouths. Or their... well, let's just get on with it, shall we?

Much goofing around in the early gigs.... by the by, this era features what is popularly known as John's Heat Miser hair.

John's hands aren't usually this free. Simon is clearly appreciating the moment.

"That big? Don't even joke..."

Depression all gone now, see??

This one's even more effective in the full group shot, but I can't find that one. So just imagine the other three Durans posing quite manfully for the camera... while Simon just snuggles into John's shoulder. We like to call this one the "I'm tired, honey, take me home" shot.

Sometimes a microphone is just a microphone...

And sometimes... it's really, really not.

As we've seen, sometimes Simon enjoys laying his head on John's shoulder (or trying to)....

Sometimes Simon enjoys nuzzling John's face....

Sometimes Simon enjoys cradling John's head with his hand...

Sometimes he likes groping John's leg... "cool haze reflected off your thighs"... all in service of the lyrics, of course

In this video, it takes John a moment to notice that Simon is groping his crotch - on camera. It does not actually interrupt the conversation, even when Simon protests that he was just getting his "grope for the evening."

In fairness, he offers John a chance at his crotch, too. (video on this theme to come...)

Sometimes Simon likes to rest his ass on John in creative ways...

Even better, he likes to rest his crotch on John's ass....

And of course, he really enjoys kissing John...

Right after this picture, they kissed, too.

And sometimes the kissing gets out of hand....

Usually John's trapped with his bass, but he returns the attentions when he can...

Mostly they both just like touching and gazing adoringly at each other

"You said we're what for each other??"

Yes, they're married... no, not to each other. No, really.

This one looks like they've just finished up an afternoon tryst in a hotel... Simon's still getting dressed

It was John's birthday... Simon got his present wrapped just in time! (hey, John did say that his birthday wish was for Simon to perform a striptease....)

The file name of this Nick shot is "jslurve.jpg." This is unchanged from when it was posted in the dd.com news section. Immediately after it is a fan photo shot at the exactly same instant -- you can see Nick taking the first picture in the background.
