Back about, oh, 6 years ago, I got behind on the TV show Lost and never got caught up again. Over the summer, chelseafrew decided to fix that, so we've been watching a few hours a week. Today we're on the last few episodes of Season 6, and I now have puffy red eyes from all the crying I've been doing.

Three episodes left. "The last episode is going to DESTROY you," chelsefrew just cackled as she checked the Puffs supply.

Maybe the last Hunger Games book will cheer me up?

From what I've been told (and I got an hour-and-a-half long description when Christie was done with it), the last Hunger Games book is one of the most depressing things ever written. Sorry.

Yes, I'm certainly getting that impression! And since the first two books could also be described that way, I'm starting to think maybe I should hold off reading this until the liquor store is open.

Oh well. I still have plenty of tissues left. Wish me luck!

Haha, yeah, I second the "not so much with the cheery". I thought it was as well written as the rest of the series, but I have some issues with the book that we can discuss once you've read it and I'm not spoiling you. :)

Don't worry, the last book's super-cheery. I certainly didn't cry while reading it in the food court in the shopping mall.

We finally got through it, but yeah, it took some time due to all the weeping. I did finally stop by the end, mostly due to extreme confusion. *g*
