Hmmm...well, obviously Merlin and Arthur are almost exactly the same size (fanfic comparisons aside), so theoretically, we should all get along just fine!
And I think that used to be the case, for the most part, back in the halcyon days of series 1. Now there seems to be more of a divide between the woobie!Merlin fans and the Arthur apologists, which can be rather disheartening to those of us in the middle. The OTP of M/A is also getting splintered as many of the hardcore Merlin fans look to new pairings for him.
And that's not even counting the weird undercurrents about the two actors!
