Tonight I am tremendously proud of my little blue state (and especially my little blue county), our vaguely purplish neighbor on the other side of the Beltway, and my big crazy country.

Now come on, Washington. Finish off this amazing night.

Hey, if anything we're slightly purplish-blue at this point! Two presidential elections in a row to the Dems and we just put in a new Dem senator who's pretty liberal. :)

My state, Arizona elected Romney which was no surprise. This is one of the more red states and we ended up with a terrible choice for the Senate (Jeff Flake, 'nuff said).

I love America in a perfectly sappy, sentimental, strong, real way.
