Sadly a later trailer has apparently shown that the 2 hands on the glass aren't Kirk&Spock as this trailer implied but are Spock and Cumberland's character. :(
I'm pretty sure Cumberland's villain is going to be Gary Mitchell for reasons that are speculative and possibly spoilery.
If I were going to bet money on it, I would bet that Cumberbatch was playing Mitchell as well. He should be excellent at that role -- he's actually probably a little too cerebral for Khan, though I'd still love to see him try.
I love that they're throwing us all the Khan references to distract us, though. It's so much fun.
