Usually I never get around to doing these, because I can never think of answers to all the questions. But fandom is all about the guilty pleasures, so I couldn't resist this one...

1. What is (one of) your guilty pleasure episode(s)?

Stargate SG-1 "Hathor" -- it's one of the first episodes I ever saw, and even though it's really, really bad, I love it.

2. What is (one of) your guilty pleasure movie(s)?

Jurassic Park III -- The feelgood romantic comedy of the summer! I won't admit to most people how many times I went to see this in the theater, but it's more than I've ever seen anything else, even TPM, and I'm really not nearly as embarrassed by that as I ought to be. It's just the perfect happy movie for me.

3. What is (one of) your guilty pleasure website(s)?

I spend more time on TWOP than I probably should, and occasionally I go look to see what the lotrips tinhats are doing.

4. What is (one of) your guilty pleasure fandom(s)?

Most recently, I read a whole bunch of very bad t.A.T.u. fanfic. I'm not even sure it qualifies as an actual fandom, but there it is.

5. What is (one of) your guilty pleasure fanfic(s)?

Here's my current favorite guilty pleasure fanfic place -- http://www.pepesplace.co.uk/

It's Stargate, and might be pretty good if Jack and Daniel were British and, you know, completely different people. But damn, the smut is hot. Really hot. Hits a ton of my emotional buttons, in spite of (or maybe because of) the OOC-ness. And there's the occasional amusing dialogue exchange. But mostly I'm there for the smut.

JPIII! And *cough* fanfic...

Can I ask what t.A.T.u. is? It's not ringing any bells.

Oh, man, I am not completely out here in bad taste-guilty pleasure land! I admit, I've been reading and enjoying the smuttiness of those stories. Sooooo not J&D, but...

LOL! I knew the mention of JPIII would catch your eye. *g*

t.A.T.u. is a Russian pop duo whose public image (and music) is all about being teenage lesbian lovers. The girls are cute, the music is strangely addictive, their media presence is interesting on a meta level, and the fanfic is simply embarrassing. Here's an example - http://www.tatu.us/forum/viewforum.php?f=16

And yeah, Pepe writes fantastic smut. So, so not Jack and Daniel, but it's a lot of fun imagining two guys who look just like Jack and Daniel doing some of these things. *g*

I am kind of predictable, huh? *g* Hey, I just wanted to make sure you knew there were still other interested parties.

Thanks for the explanation of t.A.T.u. Uh. Huh.

There is some fanfic which I can't read as fanfic, just porn. Pepe qualifies. *g*

On the other hand ... in the list of top ten lines that should never be used in a smutty story in a non-smutty context, "This has all just taken on a whole new life ... and it's HUGE." is way up there.

*giggling*

Hee!

Though wait... you mean these stories *have* non-smutty contexts?? I'm not convinced. ;-)

Actually, I should mention that one thing this author does interestingly (other than the actual smut) is deal with sexuality issues. Sometimes it's rushed and unrealistic, but it's pretty unusual to find that brought up to any great extent in SG fanfiction, other than a cursory mention of "don't ask, don't tell," so I give this author a fair amount of credit for that.

Pepe?
Oh yes, so with you. Of course she isn't actually writing about Jack and Daniel, but who cares? Let's just use their bodies and put them into compromising positions often and everywhere, so they can have HOT, HOT, HOT sex.
Though I don't know if you've read the Edge of Darkness series yet, because it gets seriously weird. Very scary. Which won't keep me from reading the next part, of course.
And the Hotel Series?
GAH.

Though if I'm perfectly honest: I find Jack and Daniel a lot hotter when they are written in character, no matter what they do, even if it's just a kiss. Which reminds me: when are we going to see your next Stargate story? *g*

I read the first Edge of Darkness story and liked it, but I've only skimmed the other two, because, yeah, really scary! I love the Hotel Series so far, though she's again going to go a little rougher and scarier than I generally like in my SG. I totally agree that anything is hotter when they're in character -- it's really very few authors who can make my tongue loll out of my mouth while being this extremely OOC, especially in SG, which is why Pepe is so noteworthy. *g*

And my next Stargate story? Um... soon. Maybe. I hope. *g* Thank you for being interested!
