corilannamIt's been a nasty, nasty day. On many, many levels. But when I finally got time a few minutes ago to check my e-mail, my mood got a lift:
HBO is doing a miniseries (a la Band of Brothers) about Alexander. Based on Mary Renault's novels.
*thud*
I don't care who they cast. I don't care who directs it (you think Peter Jackson would be available?). I don't care that it's not going to be on until 2004. They're making a miniseries from the Renault books. I am in bliss.
The rest of the day can suck as much as it wants. Can't touch me. Though maybe I shouldn't challenge fate at this point.
