I've been kind of... off LJ for the last couple weeks. I've meant to write something a couple of times, and I've meant to keep up with everyone else, but the writing never happened and the reading has been hit and miss at best.

But on the upside? The TPM story I thought I would never, ever finish? Is done! Absolutely done. Thank you, Force.

Now I'm going to go hug my Stargate notebook for a while and get back to the story I haven't let myself look at in months.

In other news, there are a few things I now have which make me happy:

-- a wireless keyboard and mouse. It's amazing how freeing it is to not be tangled up in wires when I'm on this computer. I was reluctant to shell out the money for it, but when my new mouse broke after just a few months, I decided I was getting what I was paying for.

-- Star Trek: TOS on DVD. Finally! And I found it for 80 bucks at Costco. 80 bucks! Whee! Now, if I could just buy some time with which to watch them....

-- Farscape DVDs from Netflix. Even if I can't figure out what order I'm actually supposed to watch them in, but it doesn't seem to matter. It's such a short, fast trip into addiction, isn't it?

Sheesh, just that and I'm already pretty much done with LJ for the night. I better start saving my strength for Stargate Friday...

Is that the one you offered up for fic amnesty day? - An Acquaintance with Darkness (yes, I saved what there was of it because I liked it so much!!!)? When do we get to read it?

Nope, different one. I'm not sure Acquaintance is *ever* going to be finished -- hence, using it for amnesty day. *g*

Though now that I think about it, I think I may have started this one around the same time as Acquaintance, so maybe there's hope yet!

OK! You have to watch Farscape in the right order! Yes, yes, addiction good, etc. But the order is so very vital by the end. Talk to me, I will steer you right in the Farscape addiction.

That depends entirely on where it ends up going. :-) I'm definitely submitting it to a zine, it's just a matter of who ends up wanting it!

the scifi channel will be playing all the epiosdes in order before the miniseries. *entices you into endless hours of tv*

it is indeed a short fast trip to addiction. i got hooked just watching the first episode. i've never been the same since. *veg*

Epguides will give you the U.S. airdate order. The only possible exception would be to watch Dream a Little Dream before or after Mind the Baby. Otherwise, they did a very good job of showing episodes with a good internal chronology.
