Just in case anyone who'd be interested hasn't seen it, Suncoast is (undoubtedly on a very temporary basis) selling the complete third season of Farscape for $29.99, about $100 less than it's supposed to be. This is obviously a mistake on their part, so if you want to try to get them to honor it (as I just did), act quickly!

!!! Damn, that is one SWEET deal. I have it ordered, of course, through amazon.ca and am hoping it stays on backorder for as long as my "Silver Stallion" dvd (about 6 weeks) because I have little money right now *g* It is REALLY unfortunate that Suncoast does not ship to Canada! Alas.

:-( That is unfortunate! Sometimes I forget with the internet that not everyone ships all over the world -- though I've been having that problem trying to get a copy of Sean Bean's Tom and Thomas from Belgium. And I'm hoping the Suncoast backorder lasts until my next paycheck. *g*

Isn't it? As sithdragn noted, they've done this before, with the pre-orders for Firefly last year. They did honor that for anyone who got an order in for the incorrect price, so I have hopes that they'll do the same now. Though they're losing a lot more money on this one!

Yeah, mine is backordered, too. It actually showed up as in stock when I first went to the link, but it was backordered by the time I got to checkout. But the price was still right.

Woo-hoo. I was just about to start watching Season 1. I've only seen scattered eps, but I have enjoyed what I have seen. I went ahead and ordered: $29.99 is cheaper than renting. Thanks for the tip!

I'm just starting Season 1, too, so it's nice to get a jump on the future episodes. It is much cheaper than renting, even doing it through Netflix. Glad you could take advantage of it!

Y'know, I suspect they do this stuff on purpose. Suncoast had the same "accident" with the Firefly DVDs when they were first released, pricing them far below actual cost. Not that I'm complaining at all. *g* I just scooped these up and received my confirmation for $32 with shipping. Thank you so much!

In case someone commentst that the site wasn't working for them or allowing them to purchase the DVDs at the sale price, I'll mention that Suncoast's site does not work in Mozilla browsers. At least not in Opera. Wankers.

Yeah, I remember the Firefly thing. As I recall, they honored all of those transactions, for the people who ordered before they caught the mistake, so I'm hoping they'll do the same here!

Just noticed that the price now reads "$134.98." Makes me wonder if they made it that price on purpose for awhile... I mean, I can understand if they left off a 1 and it was supposed to be $129.99, but $134.98? They don't even share the same digits.

It was still $29.99 before I went to lunch...odd that it took them that long to change it.

I guess it's possible that it was deliberate, but I just can't see them selling a set that expensive for that little money on purpose. $100, sure. $80, maybe on a huge promotion. But $29.99? From $150? For a set that just came out a month ago? Somehow I think that someone just input the wrong price entirely. *g*
