Today my upper and lower respiratory systems have finally overwhelmed me. I can deal with one of them at a time and still handle work, but this is just getting ridiculous. So I'm sacrificing a sick day on actual illness, which is rare for me.

The last time I took a real sick day, I spent it curled up on the couch mainlining the entire first season of Farscape. That worked out pretty well, so I thought I might do it again with one of the other TV shows I've had sitting around but haven't gotten to watch yet. And since I've always wanted to do one of these nifty polls, I'm asking you all to help me decide:

[Poll #460634]

There is no "Other" option. You may suggest something else in the comments, but only if you're going to bring it over to my house.

On the subject of things that make me feel much, much better, if you saw this week's episode of House and are longing for a certain kind of...follow-up, as so many of us are, go now and read [livejournal.com profile] kassrachel's hotter than hot story In Gear. It'll cure what ails ya.

Okay, I cheated, I couldn't decide between Jeremiah, Brimstone, or Carnivale, so it depends on your mood. Carnivale is terrific, and creepy and strange, not very specific-relationship oriented, except in the arch-enemies kind of way, and that's... not so much a relationship, really.. Brimstone is snarky and a bit creepy, and often quite funny in a Satanic sort of way, with the arch-nememis hatred relationship going on. Jeremiah is just terrific, with pain, and wonderful bonding, and great story-telling, and great buddy stuff.

I decided that my head already hurt too much to tackle Carnivale, I couldn't find my Brimstone VCDs, and I'm terrified of becoming fannish about Jeremiah (which I just don't have time for right now!).

So I took a nap instead. *g*

I picked CSI because mainlining Carnivale might just turn you into a blithering idiot by tomorrow morning, and we can't have that, can we?

You're assuming anyone would be able to tell the difference at this point? ;-)

I picked CSI.

Cause for some unknown reason, I've been watching that show like crazy recently, even when it makes me roll my eyes and go "Bullshit!!!"

I also watched CSI:NY last night, even though I swore I never would after the "we found a rat in NYC that ate a bullet" BS. But I saw Miracle the other day, and Eddie Cahill is very yummy, so I watched. ;) His character is kinda jerky, but not too bad. Nice eye candy. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Hee! Yeah, CSI should be fun for you, at least on the nitpicking and mockery level. I don't watch any of them yet, though [livejournal.com profile] chelseafrew keeps me updated on the Gary Sinise portions of CSI:NY, at least. *g*

A rat that ate a bullet? Wah-huh?

Carnivale, because you can catch up on the entire series in 23 hours and the finale is Sunday!

Thanks for the well wishes! I love A Fish Called Wanda, though I actually don't think I own a copy. Must fix that someday soon.
