Just back from Episode III....

The birds are already chirping outside and the false dawn is just starting to light the sky, and I just now got home from ROTS.
Oh my God.
That was
FUCKING
AWESOME.
It was everything I wanted it to be -- or at least everything I could reasonably expect it to be. It gave me the same visual and emotional joy I had with Episode I, but with the substance of the original trilogy. It was funny, it was tragic, it was beautiful, it was cheesy, it was even slashy.
Sure, there are quibbles a-plenty to be had, but overall?
George did not fuck it up.
*boggles*
He did not fuck it up.
This was the movie I've been waiting for since I was 11 years old. I know there are a lot of you for whom it's been a longer wait than for me -- I hope you experience the same rapture I'm enjoying right now.
Now I have to try to sleep somehow. If I can stop crying.
