I just found out that my grandmother died. Six months ago. And nobody bothered to tell my mother until she called and called, and finally found someone to tell her that her mother was dead. Love this clan. And they wonder why I've never wanted anything to do with them.
But tonight I'll put one of these candles to its intended use for once. Because she was family, even if I didn't want her to be, even if no one thought we would care that she was gone.
