I really, really love fireworks. We had displays across the entire horizon, all up and down the Cape, then one right over our part of the harbor. I still miss the DC display, but this was most acceptable.

They are lovely over the water! My favorites that I've ever seen were at New Year's in Philadelphia - a cascade of fireworks over the side of a bridge.

Next year I will have to plan to be somewhere grand for the Fourth.

I can picture the fireworks cascading over the side of a bridge. Well, imagine it since I've never seen such a thing.
