Okay, I checked. Mercury just went OUT of retrograde on Saturday.

So how come between Saturday and now

1) the keyboard on my netbook decided to completely stop working;

2) my other laptop suddenly won't keep me online for more than five minutes at a time;

3) my kitchen sink has a clog that just laughs at Drano and plungers; and

4) my work computer refused to do anything but moan like a wounded bear when I tried to boot it up this morning?

I'm getting scared to mess with anything more complex than a fountain pen and take-out food at this point. I suspect the fact that I'm about to hit 30,000 words on this story is starting to warp the boundaries of my personal reality continuum.

Oh! *snaps fingers and nods*

This explains it! Stubbed toes, jammed fingers, only one burner working on the stove.

Can Mercury in Retrograde carry over somehow? I'm sorry your world is being stroppy!

I haven't caught up with you in a very long time, but thank you so much for the 'friending' and I'll be reading up on your journal. I'm excited about your writing project.

Con amor,

Thank you! Things are settling nicely.

Do you happen to have a link to a set of (good) sidereal charts online?

Thanks for the warm welcome back. I am having a fabulous time.

I'd say it's time for a country retreat...perhaps a quiet week without technology?

Sincerely, that all sounds headdesk producing. I hope everything resolves quickly and easily. :)

Heh....pens at least work. Although, not in my mother's house. She keeps them in various jars and containers and just about every one of them is long gone. ;)

Some people say there's a week or so on the other side of MercR... I get an e-newsletter from astrologer Larry Martin, who says: "Mercury regains its full speed (exits its storm) on May 21. From there, our acceleration continues to build into June. Multiple aspects occur throughout the last two weeks and alternate between challenging and easy."

Interestingly, there's a lot of weird, nasty stuff going on with Mars and Neptune, which does make me look at the Gulf catastrophe. I don't run my life by my sun-sign, but the major stuff does have some eerie "coincidences."

I've been able to get rid of really stubborn clogs with a zip it. Here's more info: http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1280063&CAWELAID=109337881

Dude! I ACTUALLY HAVE ONE OF THOSE! And I totally forgot about it until just now. Thanks!

Now if I can just figure out where it is....

I blame gremlins. Sorry to hear you are having technical issues. I went through that a week ago. *happy thoughts*

I think the kitchen sink is Neptune, not Mercury...

Hmm, and there's apparently a water pipe leaking under our building today, which lends credence to your theory....
