It's 70 degrees outside. It's Washington, DC. It's December 6th. This is not normal, not that I'm complaining.

As I was sitting at the bus stop this morning, it was hard to make myself believe that I have to finish my Christmas shopping this weekend. And I thought, the reason that's so hard, is because it doesn't feel like December, obviously. It feels like September.

And it just made me wonder if God wasn't giving us a little extra autumn to make up for all the gorgeous fall days none of us got to enjoy when we had them the first time.

Ahhh, deep thoughts....

Mmm, I like that. Much more pleasant than an exorcism, more like a do-over. It's not gonna happen for me when it's minus twenty out there, though.
