Whew.  Maternal visit successfully concluded.  My mother is now on a train, wending her way back across the country, and is hopefully making her connection in Chicago right now (no news is good news?)  The visit was the expected combination of trauma and joy, and she left me with a list of vitamins I should be taking now that I'm 30, instructions to see a doctor about my lazy eye (??!!), and a bunch of emotional wreckage.

Also, a TiVo that really, really hates me.

I told work I'd be in late this morning so I could sleep off the last of the stress and try to get rid of the cold I've had since Thursday night.  I'm so glad I did, since I feel way, way better.  Now I just have to catch up on my fannish life and start planning for Chicago, which has completely sneaked up on me.

I have laundry when I get home.  But also -- TORCHWOOD!  Whee!
