I am all a-flutter these days

Random things going on with me--

-- not going to Cleveland after all

-- instead, mother is coming here, tomorrow, and staying for two weeks (yes, she was already here for the entire month of June, but let's not count, shall we?)

-- after week of frantic work, apartment is cleaner than it has ever been BUT STILL NOT CLEAN ENOUGH FOR MY MOTHER OMG NO.

-- I am totally ditching my mother Wednesday night, because stellarmeadow and I both won tickets to a Radio and Records Convention where John Taylor and Simon Le Bon (just them! together!) will be doing interviews and suchlike LIVE AND IN PERSON on Thursday morning.  In freaking Charlotte, NC (am I insane? yes, quite).

-- last night chelseafrew and I watched the premiere of FNL, and OMG, love that show as much as ever.

-- on a somewhat related note, if you're chelseafrew, the Sweet Charity auction ends tomorrow night.  So if you're wanting a ho, now's the time to be considering your bidding. Cori Lannam write you good story, boys love each other long time.

-- on a different, equally tangential note, OMG YULETIDE!!  I was all eager to make my nominations, but then I looked, and all the fandoms that I wanted to nominate -- already nominated!  You people are so on the ball.  So who nominated the Duran Duran RPS for me?  sidewinder, was that you?

Wow, that means someone else in yuletide has even a passing interest in Duran fic. Amazing! Sorry that you're sitting out this year, but it's good not to overload -- and xmas_rocks is quite the undertaking. *g*

Way to freak me out, dude! I misread your FNL reference and thought you were saying you watching the premiere for this year, which, you know, would mean we MISSED IT!

My heart rate can now return to normal. *sigh* Miss FNL. Miss it lots.

Actually, it was the premiere for this year. But don't fret! You still have a couple weeks until it airs. NBC is streaming it on their website now, which is how we saw it. *g*

I miss it, too. Can't wait to have my weekly dose of it back on my TV.
