corilannam: (yuletide - the bunnies are restless)

As usual, the biggest problem I'm having signing up for yuletide this year is coming up with my requests. Usually it's a case of not being able to think of enough things I really want, but this year I HAVE TOO MANY.

Here's where I am right now:

1) RPF - Duran Duran -- Goes without saying, of course. Am I lucky that my main fandom is yuletide-eligible, or very unfortunate? I do not know.

2) Merlin -- I am overcome with the desire for Merlin fic.

3) Marion Zimmer Bradley - Darkover -- I know this must have been nominated in previous yuletides, but for some reason I never noticed it before. I am overcome with an intense need for Dani/Regis fic, to fulfill my longings from my days as a teenage proto-slasher.

4) ???

I don't know what to put for 4. I had been almost set on Crusoe, but couldn't think of a prompt. Then after chatting last night, I started thinking about asking for that Torvill and Dean fic after all. Then I thought, seriously, can I really bring myself to do that? I feel dirty, like I'm asking for porn about God (not that there's anything wrong with that, I guess). Then I noticed that Horatio Hornblower is eligible again this year, and there is decidedly not enough HH fic being produced these days.

What to do???

In terms of offering, after a few years of carefully tailoring my offered fandoms, this year I'm offering the kitchen sink. If I think I might be able to write it, I'm giving it a try. Based on past experiences, it's just more fun that way. Bring it on! (but I'm not offering Bring It On, just to be clear.)
