I am slowly becoming a morning person! Okay, haha, not really, but I have had to get to work extra early the last two weeks. We're doing construction work on our parking garage here for the next month or so, which means parking spaces are at a premium.

I am, apparently, highly motivated by good parking spaces, if not by my actual job.

Has anyone else had problems with the Windows 7 critical updates from July 14? My brand new desktop crashed after the updates installed, and now I can't even get a command prompt to uninstall them. Googling has not been fruitful. Grrr.

I can see LJ from work, but not from home. And I can't post or comment from anywhere, which is the most frustrating thing. It's extra annoying because I'm done with all my pthon stuff early for once, but I can't post it.

Whoops, never mind, I can't see it anymore, either.

Oh, now I can.

And now I can't anymore. Well, at least this will keep me entertained.

*Raises hand* I can't even get the Windows 7 updates to load. I've given up until they get a clue. Nothing suggested on their site works.

Yeah, nothing's working at all for me. I spent 3 hours last night with Google and the Windows 7 recovery disk, but not a single tactic worked. I think I'm just going to have to wipe it and reinstall. Grr!

I just tried to use my fairly new desktop which had just downloaded the updates, and it crashed. I thought it was my hardware (I've had issues with that. Joy.), but now I think otherwise. Damn. Back to the netbook until I have the energy to deal with anything else. :(
