For those of you planning to get up early tomorrow to buy tickets to see Ewan McGregor in Guys and Dolls -- tickets are already on sale. They weren't supposed to go on sale to the general public until tomorrow, but apparently ticketmaster.co.uk is excited as I am about this 'cause there they are!
Row B! Center!
Ahem. Anyway, so
kris4n6 and
chelseafrew and I are going to the evening show on September 10th. Anyone else want to join us for the fangirl squeeing event of the year?
eeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! (it'll be kinda like that, yeah)

I have three thousand dollars (canadians of course). If I can make a trip to London fit into that, I may be going. *sigh*

Date: 2005-01-06 09:25 pm (UTC)If you have a hotel, I'd be very grateful to know of it. Hotels in London are expensive! Ouch.

Date: 2005-01-09 07:17 pm (UTC)I've decided to calm down (*drinks herbal tea*), and wonder about plane tickets and hotel rooms only in April. Well, I'm going to go this week by the student travel agency at my university to ask them when I should start planning, but I expect their answer will be "Come back in April".
If you find an incredible hotel at cheap rates, I'd love to hear about it. :)

Date: 2005-01-06 08:40 pm (UTC)Not having been to the UK before, how much might a trip like this cost? I'm prepared to ditch cons from my schedule in order to go to the UK and Ewan. :)

Date: 2005-01-06 08:53 pm (UTC)Then you just have to worry about lodging, food, and transportation, all of which can be had reasonably cheap if you're willing to be flexible and frugal. So all in all, it's more than a con, but not really all that much more than, say, a cross-country one. Which is why I'm ditching Escapade this year, because it would cost as much as London. *g*
