Over the last few days, I've really been missing Hawaii (the show, not the state) and feeling bitter all over again about its cancellation.  I've gotten to the point of whining, "But lots of shows suck a lot more and they're still on the air.  They even have fandoms and stories and vids and other pretty things."   It all seems so unfair.

This is why I like movie fandoms.  Limited source material, yes, but they can't cancel a movie out from under you, either.

On the bright side, I just now found hawaii_slash, which I had no idea existed, several months after it would have done me some good.  But hey!  There's a couple of stories I also didn't know existed, so it's almost like having a live fandom again.  For about ten minutes.

Still trying to decide whether to do the J/D ficathon this year.  Last year it just about killed me.  And yet, it turned out that near-death experiences can be surprisingly fun.

I need to stop watching lierdumoa's TFatF vid over and over before the Brian/Dom sexy burns out my brain.  It's just as well I can't afford to bid in the VVC auction.

Wheeee!  The Daily Show on DVD!  Thanks to movies_michelle for the news.  It almost makes up for TAR season 1 being delayed.

Aw, man. *hugs* I still boggle that anybody could not respond to getting such a freakin' amazing story. I mean, not even a thank you? That's insane. See, this is what happens when you let just anyone participate.
