Obviously, it depends on the hobbits. Merry/Pippin smut is a beautiful and natural thing.

Sam/Frodo is perverted. Freakish. Mind-bogglingly weirdo.

I definitely agree with you there -- except that I love Dwarf/Elf smut. At least when it's Gimli and his Elf. *g* They get the only good fic these days, too.
