Dear Yuletide Writer,

First of all, thank you so much in advance for my story!  I am always very excited about yuletide, and I'm looking forward so much to reading whatever you come up with for one of my requests.

As for my requests, they are fairly simple and open-ended, and if you would like to just go wild and write something that inspires you, go for it.  If you would like a bit more guidance on what I like, I present to you:



Okay, let's start with general issues.  I like my fic well-written with good grammar and punctuation.  I like the characters, whoever they are, to sound like themselves.  I like angst, I like fluff, I like plot.  Smut is fine, but not necessary.  I do not like death and despair (well, I do sometimes, but not for yuletide).  Happy or at least hopeful endings work for me.

Now, to the specific requests--

Duran Duran -- on the very slim chance you're writing me Duran Duran, hurray!  This is my current primary fandom, and I will be delighted with anything that has John and Simon in a romantic relationship.  My details also asked for Yasmin involvement-- I adore Yasmin, and I've always wanted a story with her as a major character.  It could be a threeway relationship, but doesn't have to be.  A look at her relationship with John would be nice.  Just please, no shrewish Yasmin.  My view is that Simon is very much in love with his wife, regardless of what other relationships he might have.

Bourne Identity --  my interest in having a story for these characters sparked during the recent third Bourne movie.  I'm quite intrigued by the relationship between Nicki and Bourne, both in the past and present.  I don't have any specific thoughts on it, except that I'd love to see them encountering each other again at some point after the movies.  It's fine if it's romantic in some way, but it's also just as fine if it's not.  A darker edge for this one is fine, though again, please no death.

Hotel Babylon -- I recently devoured the entire first two seasons of this show, and Tony and Charlie are by far my favorite characters.  I love their dynamic, and I love the tone of the show, and I'd love a story that captures both in an interesting plotty way.  NOT SLASH, please, not for these two.  Canon ships are great.

So that's about it.  I'm really quite easy to please, and if you love your story, I know I will, too!

Charlie reminds me of a cross between Ewan and Sean Bean, which just makes me melt into a gooey little puddle.

I think the third season starts in January. At least, that's when both the last seasons have started. I can't wait!!
