Two weeks until Troy opens! And I finally found a second picture of Patroklos.

This weekend, my sole goal (other than seeing Kill Bill vol. 2) is to learn how to use Adobe Premiere Pro. I mastered Pinnacle Studio, but this is a whole new ballgame. I think I'm gonna buy a book.

I'm a little put out, however, that no one warned me that vidding can be physically dangerous as well as financially ruinous. I was sitting on the bus with my CD player, glorying in the song that I finally, finally found that's perfect for the Jack O'Neill video I'm dying to do. The bus gets to my stop and, still mentally rearranging clips, I stand up, trip over my own purse strap, and land *wham!* right on my face. That could just be because I'm a space case, but I'm choosing to blame an externally imposed trance state instead.

Also put out that nobody ever told me about the Age of Bronze comics. But I finally found them on bittorrent, so I can forgive.

No one looks bad in this movie, I'm telling you! You know I'm obsessing on Sean (I'm liking some of the new one showing up on his website, like this one of Odysseus looking pensive; okay, so he always looks pensive), but everyone looks nummy. You saw the covers to the new Empire here, right?

One week to "Van Helsing. Two weeks to "Troy." "Prisoner of Azkaban" June 4. It's shaping up to be a very fun Shallow Summer. *g*

Oh yes, I've been glorying in the Sean-ness! He does pensive so very well. I'm really hopeful that we'll get to see an awful lot of him -- though just hearing his voice at the beginning of the latest trailer was enough to undo me, so I'm not sure I'm going to survive the whole movie at this rate.

But yes, not a bad-looking one in the bunch. I want the Brad Pitt Empire something awful. There's just something about really buff men in short skirts and armor. *g*

Hurray for the Summer of Shallow!

You know, it is Just Not Fair that Empire is so freaking expensive here! I love that magazine, I'd buy it every month if it wasn't $10.

Guess I'll just have to move to England and get a subscription. That sounds reasonable, right?

Empire is one of my grand addictions. I have to be very choosy about which one I want, because it is so freaking expensive, though.

If I could afford a subscription, I'd get one, but... *sigh*

At long last, a swords-and-sandals extravaganza to end all extravaganzas!

Not made in Spain. Not dubbed in English. No actors playing as many roles as they can get away with to keep the budget down!

I'm not entirely certain, but I *may* have died and am about to go to Heaven.

Sighing with anticipation
