I'm poking my head up after another spate of anti-socialness, this time motivated by a nasty ear infection. I fought it back for a couple of weeks, then finally lost and had to succumb to the need to actually set foot in a doctor's office. I hate everything about going to the doctor, except for the sweet, sweet medicine they dole out at the end of it. Well, the sweet, sweet medicine that I had to fight for at the pharmacy because their computer system hadn't processed the prescription properly. Honestly, they were ear drops. What did they think I was going to be able to get for them on the street?
But now my ear feels a good bit better, although I still can't hear out of it properly. And that's a shame, since today is the day that the new Duran Duran Live from London DVD comes out, and also the day when I get to go see that DVD screened at the movie theater. I am way more excited about that than I should be, and only part of it is because I haven't eaten anything today but leftover Halloween candy at the office.
Oh, and since I know several of you saw Duran Duran's latest tour, and I remember talking with a few of you about the very cool animation they had on the screen during Careless Memories (see my icon) -- you can finally download an excellent version of the anime at this site. His downloads are kind of tricky; I find using something like GetRight is the best way to get them without the hassle of renaming files.
Also competing for my joy today: Revenge of the Sith on DVD! And
yuletide signups start tonight! Wheee! Though I still have no clue what I'm going to ask for this year.
Oh(2), and I'm finally going to do one of these meme things because this one is cool and I've always wanted to ask this of so many of you about so many stories. So --
Ask me what happens after any of my stories, and if I know, I'll tell you.

Details, woman. Detailed, slutty details.

My absolute favorite, Cappa Grus. December isn't December if I don't read this story at least a dozen times.
