It wasn't my very first episode ever (koff*second*koff), but I have to say, OMGTHEIRLOVEISSOMEDICAL!!!! And how can people watch this show and NOT think House and Wilson are totally doing it?

Do you think Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard are playing it that way on purpose? Because surely writers don't sit down, put that dialogue down on paper, and think, "Yeah, dude, that's totally something I as a straight man would say to my completely straight man friend."

"I won't see her if you don't want me to," indeed. :-D

'Or are we breaking up?' is *totally* something that straight men frequently say to other straight men. I mean, really.

I should know better than to post in LJ after I've had a fangirl squee. I sound like a twelve-year-old.

But yes. I watched that and thought, "My GOD. NO ONE says that! Not even STRAIGHT MEN TO STRAIGHT WOMEN!!!"

"I knew you'd be upset."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Wilson MARRIED? To someone (A) not House and (B) not this woman he met up with last night? And yet, he's not having this conversation with his WIFE...except that he SO IS.

It was... surreal. I haven't been smacked this hard with the gay since Lex and Clark and their sparkly pink Kryptonite of luuuuurve.

It really was hard to imagine any other connotations we were supposed to get from that episode. You just can't get away from the fact that House has it SO bad for Wilson (and vice versa!)

So, so married.

Seriously. What else are you supposed to think? If anyone has any suggestions as to how House and Wilson's conversation about the ex-girlfriend could be taken in any way OTHER than utterly utterly gay, I'd really appreciate it. (I just want to see if we can even come up with a different answer. They're totally doing it.)
